Without regard to sanctions, a level of agro-industrial complex’s export-oriented production continues increasing, - Rumshin

A Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea — Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrey Rumshin wrote a note on his official Facebook page that from the beginning of 2020, the export of the Crimean agro-industrial complex (AIC) is estimated to be about 13 million of US dollars.

“By the end of 2020, rates of the “Export of AIC production” regional project will be increased up to 100 percent and reach an amount of 12 million of dollars.

In terms of the regional project, it’s rather obvious that agriculture export production indexes will be increasing during following years.

We came to such an agreement during the session held in a video-conference format, which was chaired by the Director of the Export Development Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Roman Chekushov.

From the beginning of 2020, the export of the Crimean agro-industrial complex is estimated to be about 13 million of US dollars. Traditionally, the major export ratio refers to the poultry meat production (volume of exports reached 6,5 million of US dollars – that’s 50 percent of the whole export), hard liquors (sold for around 1,8 million of dollars – 14% of the whole export) and grape wines (sold for about 1,1 million of dollars – 8% of the Crimean export).

In 2020, the Crimean AIC goods were exported to twelve countries all around the world. The largest share of the export is aimed at Ukraine – it paid 8 million of US dollars for the Crimean production (61 % of the whole export) and China – it paid 3,3 million of dollars (25% of the export production). Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Abkhazia, Turkey, Tajikistan, Serbia and Israel got lower export supplies.

In spite of the international restrictions, the regional project “Export of AIC production” is successfully implemented on the territory of the Republic of Crimea within the framework of the “Export and International Cooperation” national project.

In 2019, Crimea had exported products of the agro-industrial complex and earned more 17 million of dollars. The regional project determines these profits as 279 % of the planned value.

«Regardless of USA and certain European Union countries’ sanctions, the Republic of Crimea demonstrates a stable growth of AIC export production rates”, — Andrey Rumshin noticed.
