The continental boxing championship among young people at the age of 19-22 is underway in Italy, reports Crimean Information Agency.
Crimean athlete Akhtem Zakirov takes part in the men’s tournament.
A prize winner of the last championship of Russia broke into the semi-final, where he met with a strong Romanian boxer. Eventually, Akhtem Zakirov achieved victory by unanimous decision. The Crimean boxer in the weight category up to 52 kilos will compete for a gold medal of final’s championship of Europe against a representative of Ukraine.
