Since 2014, repair and restoration work has been completed on 29 cultural heritage sites, including symbols of the peninsula – «Swallow's Nest», Vorontsov Palace, the Feodosia Art Gallery named after I.K. Aivazovsky and the A.S. Pushkin Museum in Gurzuf.
«Our sacred duty is to remember and honor those who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the Motherland. In the republic, 70 military burials have been restored, 487 memorial markers have been installed, and 739 names of heroes have been inscribed on memorial structures», - added the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea.
Work on improving memorials continues.
