Muradov explained why Ukraine brought up the “Crimean topic” again

The so-called “Crimean platform”, which is being organized by the Ukrainian authorities, pursues the global aim of undermining the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation what can provoke the serious confrontation between Russia and NATO countries. Such an opinion was given by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation Georgiy Muradov.

The main goal of the so-called “Crimean platform”, which is the anti-Russian platform, is to involve different countries, first and foremost USA, Turkey and United Kingdom of Great Britain, in the intense activity on the undermining the territorial integrity of Russia at the Crimean direction. It is precisely these three countries Ukraine hopes for and drag them into the most active anti-Russian policy basing on the subject that claims on our territorial integrity are an issue, which crucially complicates relations between any countries, — Deputy Chairman told.

According to Georgiy Muradov, Ukraine is also eager to pit the North Atlantic Treaty Organization against Russia with assistance of the so-called “Crimean” platform” and via including the Black-Sea member countries of NATO, such as Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria into the platform, as well as “profit off the benefits” of the possible serious conflict between them.

Moreover, thanks to the so-called “Crimean platform”, Ukraine tries to add the Crimean topic back to the international agenda. Kiev wants to link the Crimean issue and problem of conflict in the South-East of Ukraine to a single project of the so-called “territorial integrity of Ukraine”, hereby Ukraine will tie all of it into the Gordian knot, which will be difficult to cut, — Georgiy Muradov mentioned.
