Speaking at today’s online conference of the Association of Recreational Tourism and Corporate Health, the Minister of Tourism and Resort of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko reported that the touristic and recreational sectors of Crimea showed the income growth in 2020.
“According to the information of the Federal State Statistics Service, Crimea is the only region of Russia that could achieve such indexes. The growth is not so significant, it’s about 2-3%, but considering the fact that we lost more than a million of tourists in figures, though the growth took place anyway”, — Volchenko said.
According to him, the region could reach those indicators both with assistance of federal and regional business support measures.
“In 2020, all the wishes expressed by businessmen about the support measures have been taken into consideration. Even with respect to those organizations, which were not included in the Federal Payout Program, all of that was 100 percent accomplished in the Republic of Crimea”, — Volchenko stressed.
