On 28 April, at the State Kremlin Palace, following the competitive performances at the VIII International Music Festival «Road to Yalta», the winners were announced.
The jury, chaired by People’s Artist of the RSFSR Lev Leshchenko, allocated the places as follows:
1st place: Joakim Coffignier (France) and Sovd Davaasurengiin (Mongolia)
2nd place: Xing Kaizheng (China)
3rd place: Dileidy González Martínez (Cuba)
Audience Choice Award: Xing Kaizheng (China)
Special Prize of the General Sponsor – PSB Bank: Xing Kaizheng (China)
Special jury prizes were awarded to performers from Colombia, Italy, Bulgaria, India, Nigeria, Serbia, Ghana, Brazil, the United States, Spain and Tunisia.
