Since the period the long distance trains “Tavriya” started to make scheduled trips, one millionth passenger had travelled across the Crimean Bridge. The press-service of the “Grand Service Express” transport operator reported of the event.
Trains heading to Crimea transported 1,450000 passengers and not less than 70 % of them arrived in the peninsula. More than 3,500 long distance trains “Tavriya” had run across the arches of the Crimean Bridge.
The landmark passenger was a female with a husband and child, who arrived in Simferopol by the train № 95 Astrakhan-Simferopol on 31 March to get rest.
The millionth passenger received a commemorative certificate allowing her to avail one-time free transportation by any “Tavriya” train.
