The Press Service of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea informed that the Deputy Prime Minister attended a large-scale investment project on building of a fruit storage, where refrigerators for 15,000 tons with a controlled gaseous medium are housed within.
The Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko reported that more than a billion of roubles were invested into the project on the construction of the fruit storage in the Krasnogvardeysky district. The Deputy Prime Minister together with the Minister of Economic Development of Crimea Dmitriy Sheryako, employees of the Ministry of Economic Development of Crimea and personnel of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Crimea visited one of the largest fruit producers in the Crimean region.
“A major investment project on building of the fruit storage has been implemented in the Krasnogvardeysky district. The total volume of project investments amounted to more than a billion of roubles. This project created many jobs in the Krasnogvardeysky district. If we count it together with employees of fruit gardens, then the general number of jobs is more than 250. As for tax payments, which will go into the budgets of different levels during next six years, beginning on the project implementation date they will amount to 155 million of roubles”, — Irina Kiviko mentioned.

The investment project initiated by JSC “Crimean Fruit Company” is monitored by the specialists of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Crimea. Currently, the Crimean Corporation tracks 53 investment projects in the agriculture area with the general sum of claimed investments amounted up to 23 billion of roubles. There will be created 4818 jobs.
