Expert told what issues Ukraine could bring up within the scope of the so-called “Crimean platform”

Ukraine may take up a topic of the military presence in the Azov-Black Sea basin within the scope of the so-called “Crimean platform” that appeared again on the agenda. Such an opinion was given by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation Georgiy Muradov

It’s a continuation of the position on reclaiming the maritime spaces that adjoin Crimea, including penetration of the warships closer to the strategic facilities of our country that can be initiated by the states, which declared themselves as enemies of Russia. I think they will elaborate the issue of enabling the warships of NATO to enter the ports of Mariupol and Berdyansk, — Deputy Chairman supposed.

According to the vice-prime minister, the so-called suppressing rights of Crimean Tatars will occupy an important place in the agenda of the so-called “Crimean platform”. In this matter, Kiev relies on Turkey, which tries to take on the leading role in the Crimean-Tatar topic.

Ukraine understands and fears the fact that every year Crimea Tatars more and more enjoy their life in Russia owing to providing the Crimean-Tatar population with large-scale economic, social and cultural assistance within the framework of the federal programs, recognizing the Crimean-Tatar language as the state one and other crucial steps. With the help of Turkey, Kiev tries to exploit the Crimean-Tatar factor through spinning stories about the so-called “violation of the rights” of Crimean Tatars and presenting arrests of members of radical Islamic groups as “repressions” they talk so much, — Georgiy Muradov explained.
