The city administration of Yalta will arrange the introduction of the Tourist platform of the city. The project is being implemented within the framework of the municipal program “Development of resort and tourism in the municipal unit of the urban district Yalta of the Republic of Crimea” and synchronized with events of the departmental project of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation called “Smart City”.
As the representatives of the city administration of Yalta report, the funding of such arrangements from the local budget in the amount of 15 million of roubles was approved at the session of the city council. It is expected that guests and residents of the city will be able to evaluate the innovations in the resort city development in the middle of the resort season.
The tourist platform includes: a mobile application, web portal and interactive city screens installed in the places that are popular among tourists. Here, all the information, which can be required by a guest of the city, is placed on in the suitable form. In particular, it comes about an interactive map of Yalta, information of sightseeing attractions, catalogue of excursions given by travel agencies, individual itinerary plans, booking and paying of events, excursions and other things, loyalty programs, schedule of events.
Moreover, the services consist of a comfortable navigation system, which will allow tourists to become familiar with the region: construction of paths, scanning of QR codes, public transport cards, sending of notifications when tourists approach the objects of interest, travel itineraries, taxi calling and so on.
