«For the summer tourism season—from May to September—we forecast 48 million trips across the country. This represents an eight percent growth compared to last year. Based on May-June figures—with July statistics coming soon—we've seen 16.5 million trips, a ten percent increase. Overall, we're reaching these numbers, which shows very strong growth», the minister noted.
Reshetnikov pointed out that the traditional leaders in popularity remain Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan, and of course, the Black Sea coast.
«Crimea shows an eleven percent increase despite certain transportation challenges, as we understand. Krasnodar Territory, despite the situation in Anapa and limited airport operations, also demonstrates growth—modest, but still growth.
