Citizen of USA received the Russian coronavirus vaccine in Crimea

Today, a native of the state of Virginia (USA) Bruce Bevan was vaccinated in Yevpatoriya.

The wife of the citizen of USA Tatiana shared details of such a decision, as reported by a correspondent for the “Crimean Information Agency”.

We are married more than 10 years. The last five years, I’ve been working at the Crimean Federal University and Bruce usually came to me for six months, but currently, Bruce has been staying in Crimea for more than 14 months due to the coronavirus. Thus, we’ve decided to go through the vaccination process”, — Tatiana told.

As the citizen of USA admitted he barely felt the injection and he didn’t even understand what moment exactly the procedure was done.

We didn’t worry about that, as the experts of such a reputable scientific journal as the Lancet recognized the advantage of our vaccine and they say that it is not worse than the other vaccines. As for me, I am used to trust the Russian healthcare system, when we were kids, we were vaccinated and we didn’t worry about that. Bruce read that article too”, — woman said.

We will resemble the mass vaccination by the Russian “Sputnik V” at the polyclinics of the region was started in January 2021. The coronavirus vaccine “Gam-COVID-Vac” (“Sputnik V”) was officially registered by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on 11 August 2020.
